General Summary: The Customer Service Manager ensures that our customers receive excellent rail service by coordinating service with connecting carriers, commercial groups, as well as various internal departments such as Marketing, Transportation and Accounting. The Customer Service Manager provides leadership and direction to the Customer Service team, which is responsible for management of all railcar inventory, customer work order management, and associated costs (e.g. car hire) and revenue. This position collaborates with Carload Express departments to develop and influence procedures that positively impact the customer experience.
