Title: Light Maintenance Technician
Location:Â Â Eddyville, Iowa
Wage:Â Up to $26.33 Hourly (DOE)
Hours: Â Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm

What Will I Be Doing? Â
Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:Â Â Â
Team member must be able to work and direct personnel in a team-oriented and safety conscious environment. âœSafety Firstâ expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.Â
Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to, sanitation and cleaning of assigned areas following master cleaning schedules and proceduresÂ
This position may require moderate supervision and follow-up.Â
Sanitation and cleaning consist of washing down, shoveling, and sweeping, cleaning screens with the aid of respirator.Â
Maintain adherence to work schedule and work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shifts as required.Â
Assist in some maintenance, railroad, and groundwork such as (mowing, trimming, landscaping, and snow removal).Â
Must have working knowledge and be trained to operate the following: skid steer loaders, scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and hand & power tools. Clean screens and wear a respirator.Â
âœEffectivelyâ communicate with supervisor and customer to accomplish assigned tasks and develop sound customer relations.Â
Maintain adherence to the published work schedule and be available to work overtime as required by demands of the job.Â
Work from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc. utilizing fall protection equipment when required by the jobÂ
Maintain communication with supervisor regarding unresolved work issues, personnel issues, and employee complaints.Â
Work all shifts including holidays and weekends when demanded by the job.Â
Perform other work as defined by company and/or customer.Â
Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.Â
Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.Â
Communications with all team members to assist the development of short- and long-range planning in assist of the companyâ™s goals and objectivesÂ
Meet physical requirements of the job. Physical requirements of the job will be provided to you prior to employment.Â
Perform assigned tasks in a safety, effective, and efficient manner.Â
Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion.Â
Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.Â
