Fort Land & Energy, LLC is actively hiring landmen local to Midland, Texas for multiple projects across the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico. Candidates must have residence in Midland, Texas and be willing to work alongside our team in an office environment to be considered for a role.
Job Description:
Independent Petroleum Landman
Locating, reviewing, and interpreting title instruments in order to calculate surface, mineral and leasehold ownership interests
Utilizing DrillingInfo/Enverus, Texas Railroad Commission, New Mexico OCD and other sources to locate oil and gas production information and determine the leasehold status of lands
Working closely with lease buyers and right-of-way agents in support of acquisition efforts for certain projects
Providing documentation in support of GIS/Mapping projects

Requirements:
Strong work ethic
Experience calculating mineral, royalty, working and net revenue interests
Ability to work cohesively in a team environment to accomplish tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel
Ability to interpret and organize substantial amounts of data
