The Center for Radiological Research has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research scientist to study the health hazards and antimicrobial efficacy of ultraviolet light. This position will explore UV exposure effects using 2D and 3D cell culture models, animal models, and viral and bacterial culture and assay techniques. Knowledge and skills related to in vivo ocular examination using slit-lamp microscopy are highly desirable. Experience working with animal models is preferred, but a willingness to be trained in animal handling and husbandry techniques is acceptable.
